Typography Process Book
The culmination of a semester’s worth of typography projects, this book strives to present the series of projects in a pleasing manner all the while keeping the focus on the typography itself. I designed the layout of the book with ample open space in order to highlight the work. Throughout the book, I present the design of letterforms, the anatomy of a typeface, effective typesetting, and type classification.

Prototype Postcard
An example of a project presented in the book, the Prototype postcard exhibits the custom typeface I created by manipulating the design of the classic san serif helvetica. I began with sketches and drawing on top of the helvetica letters on a bitmap grid, finally bringing it into illustrator to create the precisely proportional letterforms.
